PA12+15CF from Rosa3D is a high-performance technical filament that combines the toughness of PA12 nylon with the rigidity of 15% carbon fibre. This unique blend offers excellent mechanical strength, great dimensional stability, and a superior strength to weight ratio — making it a smart alternative to metal for many demanding applications.
Designed with professionals in mind, this filament delivers strong, thermally resistant prints. It can handle temperatures up to 160°C and has passed powder coating tests, including two rounds of thermal curing at 181°C for 15 minutes, without warping or degrading.
What sets PA12+15CF apart is its balance of strength and printability. The carbon fibre content reduces shrinkage, improves layer adhesion, and increases overall dimensional precision. However, due to its abrasive nature, it must be printed with a hardened steel nozzle. Brass or aluminium nozzles will wear out quickly.

A: For very small prints, open printer will be enough. However, for larger or prone to warping models, a heated chamber is strongly recommended.
