🧯 ABS V0 Flame Retardant – Technical, Safe & Reliable

ABS V0 FR from Rosa3D is a flame – retardant thermoplastic engineered for demanding environments. It combines the toughness of classic ABS with enhanced fire resistance, achieving the UL94 V0 classification — meaning it self – extinguishes within 10 seconds without dripping.

This material is built for professional applications in the automotive, electronics, and electrical industries.

ABS V0 FR resists UV radiation, heat, and moisture, ensuring long – lasting performance even in outdoor or industrial settings. Despite its technical strength, the filament still offers good printability when handled correctly.


⚠️ Important Note: This filament releases unpleasant odours and harmful fumes during printing. Always use it in a well-ventilated area or with enclosed printers equipped with filtration.

🛠 Recommended Print Settings:

  • Nozzle Temp: 230 – 270°C
  • Bed Temp: 90 – 110°C
  • Chamber: Strongly recommended
  • Drying before use: 80°C for 4 – 6 hours

A: “V0” is a rating from the UL94 flammability standard, meaning the material self – extinguishes within 10 seconds and doesn’t drip flaming particles — ideal for safety – critical parts.

Q: Is this filament safe to print indoors?

A: Not without proper ventilation. ABS V0 FR emits unpleasant and potentially harmful fumes. We strongly recommend printing in a well – ventilated area or using a closed chamber with air filter.

Q: Can this be used for consumer electronics?

A: Yes. It’s suitable for parts like switch covers, device housings, and other components that must meet flame – resistance requirements.

Q: Does it print like regular ABS?

A: Yes, but slightly better — it offers lower shrinkage than standard ABS. However, print settings are similar, and a heated bed and closed chamber are required.

Q: Is this filament available in other colours?

A: Currently, we only offer the White version in 700g spools.
